This version of the Kiwi WiFi not only allows you to monitor the data from your OBDII port like the basic Kiwi WiFi, but you can also connect the different sensor modules from PLX. For example, if you want to see boost on your iPhone, this verison of the Kiwi WiFi allow you to transmit boost data to you iPhone by connecting the PLX Boost/Vac sensor module to the Kiwi WiFi.
Kiwi Wifi + iMFD combines the best of both worlds into one product. Since the OBDII port does not offer all the sensors you may want to monitor, the added iMFD sensor support allows you to add up to 32 additional dedicated sensor modules from the PLX product line. This includes wideband Air/Fuel Ratio, Exhaust Gas Temperature, Fluid Temperatures and much more.
The added benefit of Kiwi Wifi + iMFD is that with every additional iMFD sensor module you add, your performance does not degrade. For example, if you’re monitoring only 1 sensor from the OBDII port and your refresh rate is 5Hz, by monitoring 2 sensors, your refresh drops to 2.5Hz and so on. By adding 1 or 32 iMFD sensors, your refresh rate is always kept constant at 10Hz. This results in higher performance monitoring for even the most demanding applications.
Kiwi Wifi is compatible with :
Rev for iPhone / iPod Touch
(Now Available on the Apple App Store)
Gauges, Skid Pad, Graphs, Engine Check, Data Logging, more…
Engine Check Scan Tool
|Inclinometer||Real-time Customizable Gauges||GPS Track analysis||Skid Pad|
|Diagnose engine trouble, read and reset your check engine light.||Do you like to go off-roading or rock crawling? The inclinometer functions as both a tilt meter and a slope meter. Give yourself a little more confidence when off road, showing the roll and pitch attitude of your vehicle. Handy in terrain where the horizon is not horizontal or when wheeling at night and you can’t get a good visual reference. Easily toggle between two different modes of display.||A fully configurable dash designed to give you more information than stock instrument cluster.||Visually maps out your path as you drive around the race track. Displays your current location and whether you are accelerating or braking in clear and easy to see colors. Visually analyze different race track laps to see how acceleration and braking changed from lap to lap.
|Professional skidpad showing real-time lateral, acceleration, and braking G forces. Clearly marked G-force circle visually plots the G forces and keeps a record that you can instantly understand. It also features indicators showing your maximum left, right, acceleration, and braking G forces.|
FUZZYCar for iPhone / iPod Touch
(Now Available on the Apple App Store)
FUZZYCar is an iPhone application that connects your cars’ computer (ECU) directly to the Internet using the Kiwi WiFi from PLX Devices. Using FUZZYCar, you can see all of the diagnostic sensors your car supports right on your iPhone, including Speed, RPMs, Oxygen Sensor data, and the status of your Check Engine Light. FUZZYCar can also diagnose the exact Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) every time your check engine light comes on, and can even clear your check engine light immediately. Each copy of FUZZYCar also gives you a free account on fuzzyluke.com. Now you can keep track of multiple cars, and analyze all of your cars historical diagnostic data. You don’t just get a one-time snapshot or spreadsheet, you get to keep track of it all using the FUZZYLUKE analysis engine. Your fuzzyluke.com account will also let you setup email alerts, so that you can keep track of problems as they occur in all of your cars.
PLX Logger 3.0 for PC
*Compatible with DashCommand
PLX Logger 3.0 is free to download. It is fully compatible with the PLX iMFD system without a software license. To obtain data from the sensors, two products are available from PLX. The iMFD DataLogger and the iMFD Serial USB Adapter. However, to use PLX Logger 3.0 with Kiwi Wifi, you’ll need to purchase a license. What’s nice about PLX Logger 3.0 is that it is compatible with the iPhone/iPod Touch app called DashCommand. Logged data from DashCommand can be downloaded into PLX Logger 3.0 for further detail review.
Kiwi Wifi is used to obtain OBDII data, however if additional sensors are required such as wideband air/fuel ratio, fluid temperature, you can daisy-chain up to 32 PLX Sensor Modules and read it simultaneously with PLX Logger 3.0. This brings the best of both worlds of OBDII interface and high performance dedicated sensors into one application.
