From the desert to the mountains, and where the turf meets the surf, Toyota’s Tundra and Sequoia were ideally designed as the “go-anywhere truck”. Some of the earlier released models are coming of age, and the need to replace the original radiator is becoming increasingly apparent. CSF has developed another industry exclusive, a new all-aluminum, high-performance, 2-row radiator.
Many Tundra/Sequoia are getting into the hands of the off-road enthusiast for its rugged, yet quirky design, reliability, and off-road capabilities. The performance and aftermarket parts catalog continue to grow, and whenever engine performance increases, the burden on the cooling system also rises. It’s one thing driving a racecar and having overheating or leak issues on the track where the safety team can easily tow you back to the pits. Getting stuck on a trail or in the desert in the middle of nowhere can be quite a challenge.
CSF’s new radiator comes complete with CSF’s industry-leading and exclusive B-Tube technology that increases the heat dissipation by approximately 15% over regular tubes as well as multi-louvered fins to maximize airflow through the radiator core. 100% TIG welded construction ensures a higher level of reliability and durability compared to the OEM plastic tanks, which may become brittle or susceptible to cracking over 5+ years of use, especially when driven in extreme driving conditions. Although the CSF unit has over 50% more capacity than the OEM unit (42mm 2-row B-Tube core versus 27mm 1-row core), it is still a “drop-in fit”, requiring no modifications to install.
