Description

The Ultra Lightweight Steel Flywheel (STU) Flywheel is recommended for normally aspirated and forced induction applications. This flywheel will work with ALL performance and stock clutch assemblies.

Qualities of the Ultra Lightweight Steel Flywheel:

  • One piece ring gear for high durability
  • Weight set to 18 pounds (stock is 31 pounds).  Custom weights can be made.
  • Well suited for performance clutch kit assemblies
  • Meets and exceeds SFI 1.5
  • Reduce mass = Faster Acceleration
  • CNC machined from a steel forging made under 2000 tons of pressure at 1260 degrees

    To keep this short, the rpm hang my Xrunner had is 85-90% gone and throttle response is much much better. Only cons are a probably negligible loss of torque off the line and that nobody gets to admire this flywheel after install.
