This CNC billet machined adapter plate will allow you to install a larger throttle valve on your 2010 and later FJ Crusier and 4Runner V6
It fits the 1GR-FE engines with the DUAL VVTi (2010+ FJ Crusier and 4Runner V6) and allows you to move from the stock 70mm throttle and upgrade it to the 76mm throttle valve found on the later dual VVTi engines found in the 2005+ 2UZ-FE 4.7L V8 and 2007+ 3UR-FE 5.7L V8. Throttle valve from a 2006 Sequoia does not fit.
This adapter is used to install the much larger (76mm) throttle valve from the larger Toyota engines to your 4.0L V6.
It is a simple bolt on and plug in installation. You simple need to put a thing layer of RTV silicone on the back side fo the new throttle valve to seal it and adapt it to your current intake system.

I installed this in my 2020 TRD Pro 4runner. It is the most horsepower upgrade for the money. Huge increase in acceleration and throttle response. Super happy with it. Purchased a used throttle body from ebay.. Part #22030-0S010.. It is plug-n-play, takes less than an hour to install with simple hand tools.
